Careers, Creativity and the Commonwealth
Over the past 6 months, we have been working with the New Leaf Initiative CIC and Brink Contemporary Arts on a project funded by Avanti West Coast. Careers, Creativity and the Commonwealth was a two part project that saw the installation of a fantastic mural at Birmingham International to welcome visitors to the Commonwealth Games, as well as a series of pre-emplpoymnet training and careers experience days with young people who have barriers to finding meaningful employment. The mural was completed in May and the last cohort of trainees had their final experience days in June, but you can read all about both parts of the project on our Community Projects Page.
